It turns into a routine for our Junior herd sire to kick off breeding season with a trailer ride home from his Winter pasture in Dundee. We made a quick stop at Tom and Molly St. Hilaire’s place to run him through their chute for deworming, vaccinating and horn measuring:

FL Joyride
We decided to consign one of our best young cows – sired by Crown’s Smoke Jumper and a tremendous Gunman daughter. Look at the huge set of horns and the volume of this three year old! Has a bull calf at side by Rodeo Max ST and is exposed back to our 73”ttt Maximus ST son.
Elite female for the serious breeder!

Heifer and bull pages updated with 2008 calves

As the 2008 calving season is winding down (with only 2 more cows to go) we put our new arrivals up on our webpage.
You will notice that we start using Fey’s in front of every registered name  instead of the abbreviation FL which is also used by at least two other ranches. This way we avoid any possible confusion.

We are blessed with another beautiful calf crop!

CALVING SEASON 2008

At the end of March we were more than half way through the calving season with 17 calves on the ground. There are some dandies among them. We are especially excited about our two remaining Gunman daughters having heifer calves again.

OUR FIRST THREE CALVES 2008 WERE ALL HEIFERS AND THEN THE BULLS ARRIVED…
